How we work
We are not a fund and we do not manage outside money. We invest our own capital, take few positions, and work closely with the people running each business.
Most of what we back involves something physical — a facility, a site, a crop, a machine. That work is slower than software and it rewards people who show up. So we spend time on the ground rather than in board packs, and we prefer partners who do the same.
